LA VIRGEN Soft Drink Logo and Product Packaging

La Virgen is a new soft drink being developed for the US market and I was hired to create branding concepts for the range, including logo and product packaging.


The drink is geared towards adults who prefer a non-alcoholic alternative when socialising. The brand name La Virgen (virgin in spanish) underlines the alcohol-free nature of the beverage.

In the brief the client asked specifically that the letter V should be prominent on the front of the can as well as in the logo design. They also asked me to prepare 3 different versions of the packaging: 

- a design incorporating the Medusa's head,

- a design focused on the letter V as the Chalice and the symbol of femininity,

- and a third design of my own choosing.
