Office Mural and Wall Art for Codex Recruitment
Codex Recruitment is a global leader in digital, EPM, SaaS and data recruitment across the UK, US and Europe. In 2023 I was commissioned by the company to design a large mural for their London office illustrating their brand values, as well as six separate wall art pieces for their New York office.
Codex London Office Mural
For the first part of the commission I was asked to create a large wall mural (5.3 x 2.38 meters) for the company's London office. My task was to find a visual representation for the 6 key words included in the brief. The final design consists of 132 hand-drawn illustrations representing Codex brand values mixed with London specific imagery. All the illustrations were initially drawn in Adobe Photoshop using Wacom Cintiq tablet and vectorised afterwards for high quality large printing output. For the typographic part I have used my own custom hand-drawn fonts, which I've created prior to this project.
Codex New York Wall Art
For the second part of the commission I was asked to create six separate wall art pieces for Codex New York office. Each design represents one of the company's brand values. I have reused many drawings from the London mural here, as well as creating 67 additional illustrations, representing New York City or American culture in general. The biggest challenge of this task was creating completely new, separate layouts, but having to utilise the groups of images from the mural design, as well as making sure that all six artworks are the same size and proportion.
